We reserved a winter package at a discounted rate for a studio rental. The studio was not at all what we expected for this resort, The celling fan appeared to be falling out of the celling, the mattress and pull out were so uncomfortable that we got no sleep this was also due to the outside light coming in the room at night bc we could not shut the blinds all the way.

I tried to make a pallet on the floor with the couch cushions which was better than the mattresses but not a very desirable bed. We had to carry our bags uphill bc there was no parking area to this unit, the view out our window was stairs and concrete. The water park closed at 7 you can't check in till 4 by the time you get checked in, there is no opportunity to use the water park the first night and we had already planned out the day for our grandkids the next day, by the time we returned to the resort that day it was almost time to close. So they did not get to use the water park at all.

They did however get to go to the arcade instead which had several games not working but they enjoyed the ones that were. The starbucks won't take your gift card either. We were ushered to a counter during our check in by one of the staff and were offered a opportunity to participate in a 90 minute presentation about the resort which we agreed to because we assumed this was part of the reason we obtained a reduced rate. They did give us cash and a 2 night 3 day future stay to attend.

The presentation turned into a 3 hour event. When we told the sales person about our stay his response was "What did you think you were going to get at that price? The Taj Mahal? I was stunned, my husband was angered.

What we did expect was at the very least was a room that we could sleep comfortably in and the opportunity to enjoy the inside water park. We received neither.

Needless to say we were very glad to get home from this trip. Very disappointed for our grandkids.
