Misleading Sales Personell

Having accepted a "Free" two night stay in the resort in Gatlinburg Tn. My fiance and I decided to take advantage. We booked a minister and were married on the top of the highest peak on the property. We had to listen to a sales pitch, which was totally misleading, as the salesman told us we were buying a condo for only 2.5 mil. We would never actually own anything at this location, but would be able to "visit" up to 4 times a year, or swap this time for a different location "if available". When I refused the offer after 2 hours of sales talk the sales person acted like a "LITTLE BABY" and my wife and I walked away happy that we did not get taken into a TIMESHARE scam. Anyone thinking about this should listen to the voice of reason and a 65 yr. old Veteran and stay as far away as possible. Thank God that during the wildfires of Nov. 2016 2 people were rescued from a elevator. and I hope that they were only visiting, and had not been snookered into buying in.

Your report lacks detail. What timeshare program did you purchase (and when)?

Was it a fixed week, floating week, or points? At which Westgate Resort do you own. What was your exchange request (resort name, resort location, and week/days requested? If you own in early September in Orlando, and you are attempting to go to Las Vegas for NYE, it is highly unlikely to happen.

California during Christmas/NYE is an unlikely exchange. Are you requesting the same size unit or a downgrade?
